Join us in Fairbanks, Alaska for our 2024 Technical Conference. This year, AGS is joining with the UAF Geoscience Student Colloquium for a joint conference. This unique conference showcases the enduring relationship between AGS and UAF, a partnership that bridges the gap between practical geological exploration and cutting-edge academic research. Whether you're a seasoned professional seeking to expand your network or a student eager to explore the vast possibilities within geosciences, this conference is the perfect platform to connect, learn, and grow.

Submit Abstracts

We have received abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place posters. Student awards will also be given out for oral presentations.

We are still soliciting poster presentation abstracts.

Notification of acceptance or rejection will be made by March 10, 2024.

Oral presentations should be around 25 minutes in length with an anticipated 5 minutes for Q&A.

Program Features

Morning Sessions: The colloquium will commence with presentations from students and professionals alike, covering a wide array of topics within the geosciences.

Afternoon Poster Session: A dedicated poster session will provide an interactive platform for students and professionals to display their research, engage with attendees, and discuss their findings in a visually compelling format. This session is a cornerstone of the colloquium, encouraging direct interaction and knowledge exchange among participants.
