Sunday, April 27th

Post-conference field trip (all-day, note: limited to first 25 registrants) Transect of the Mesozoic arc and Accretionary complex of South-Central Alaska, Indian to Hatcher Pass (Sue Karl, USGS)

Description:

This is a unique field trip in that all of the components of a contractional tectonic setting involving a subducting ocean plate, accretionary complex, mantle wedge, and island arc are beautifully exposed and easily accessible by road.​
